Conference Directory · Canada
Canada’s circuit concentrates in two cities. Montreal has SSUNS, the McGill-run November conference that stands as Canada’s largest high school Model UN. Vancouver answers with three hotel conferences a year, including VMUN, which is organized entirely by high school students and still draws over a thousand delegates.
Toronto rounds out the calendar with UTMUN at the University of Toronto and OMUN at Upper Canada College, which seats middle schoolers as well. American teams cross the border regularly for SSUNS and VMUN, and both make realistic travel conferences for US programs in the Northeast and Pacific Northwest.

Yes, and many do. SSUNS and VMUN both draw international delegations, and for US schools in the Northeast or Pacific Northwest they are often closer than the domestic flagships. Students need a passport, and schools handle the border-crossing paperwork the same way as any international trip.
VMUN in January, CAHSMUN in April, and CAIMUN in the spring each have their own student secretariats and traditions, and together they let BC delegates compete across the whole school year. VMUN is the largest of the three; the others give newer delegates more room to work up.
