About Delegate Academy
Built for the delegate who wants to be good at this, not just present
Delegate Academy is a year-round, online training system for Model United Nations. Students aged 10 to 18 climb a 7-course ladder or train privately with a coach, and every session ends with written feedback that says what improved and what to work on next.
Why this exists
Most schools run Model UN as a club: a teacher advisor, a few meetings before a conference, and a lot learned by watching older students. Some delegates thrive that way. Most walk into their first committee unsure how to phrase a motion, hand in a position paper the chair skims, and go home with a certificate of participation.
The gap is not talent. It is that nobody taught the activity as a set of skills with a sequence. Research, procedure, speaking, negotiation, and drafting can each be drilled, simulated, and reviewed, the same way a debate coach or a music teacher would work. That is what we do, and it is the whole of what we do.
We are independent of, and not affiliated with, the United Nations or any conference. We prepare delegates for the rooms; we do not run them.
How a term works
Twelve weekly sessions, each running the same four-part cycle. It is deliberately unglamorous. It is also why students who finish a course can do things at a conference they could not do before.
Drill
Each week isolates one skill: a motion phrased correctly, a clause that survives amendment, a 60-second speech with a real call to action.
Simulate
Then the skill goes into a mock committee on a real agenda topic, under full conference conditions: caucus, blocs, amendments contested live.
Review
The coach debriefs the room the way a chair would, and the student takes home written notes that both they and their parents can act on.
Progress
Courses stack. Beginner I leads to Beginner II, and so on up to Scholars, so nothing is retaught and nothing is skipped by accident.

The established Model UN programs are good at what they do. These are the places where a family choosing us should notice a difference.
Prices are on the page
Every group course lists its Middle School and High School track price per term, with the 25% early-bird rate shown alongside. There is no quote form standing between a parent and a number.
Middle school is a real track, not an afterthought
Every course on the ladder runs a Middle School section (ages 10 to 13) with shorter sessions and its own pacing, next to the High School section (14 to 17).
Online, across time zones
Class slots are scheduled in two families, one that suits the Americas and Dubai and one that suits Asia and Dubai, and always land on a weekend in local time.
Crisis and chairing are taught, not mentioned
Advanced I and II are built around crisis committees, the Security Council, and joint crisis. Scholars trains chairing, background-guide writing, and judging.
Who teaches
A small roster of coaches who have chaired, competed, and judged on the circuit, including a Yale Model UN Director-General and a six-time TEDx speaker. Every credential on the roster page is one we could verify.
