delegateacademy.com is operated by Delegate Academy("we," "our," "us"). This page sets out which personal information the site handles, the purposes that information serves, and the rights you keep over it.

Three routes bring personal information to us, and you initiate all of them:

• The free trial form, which asks for a parent or guardian's name and email along with the student's age, Model UN experience, city and timezone, and any notes you choose to add
• Checkout, which collects the parent's name, email, and phone together with each enrolled student's name, age group, school, and chosen class time
• Any email you write to us directly

Card payments

Stripe handles every payment. Card numbers travel from your browser to Stripe and are never stored on, or passed through, our servers. What reaches us is limited to a payment reference, the amount, and the contact and student details entered at checkout.

Like most websites, ours produces standard server logs at our hosting provider: IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. Form submissions carry the sender's IP address so that we can filter spam. Your shopping cart never leaves your device; it lives in your browser's local storage rather than on our servers.

The uses are narrow:

• Arranging trial classes and running the courses students enroll in
• Taking payment, then issuing enrollment confirmations and receipts
• Answering whatever you ask us
• Placing each student at the right course level and keeping their coaching feedback organized
• Keeping spam and abuse out of our forms

Marketing email goes only to people who have requested it, and every such email offers a way to opt out.

Personal information is never sold, rented, or traded. It leaves our hands only for the vendors that keep this site running, and each receives only what its job requires: Stripe for payment processing, Supabase for secure storage of enrollment records, Resend for transactional email, and Netlify for hosting.

Beyond those vendors, we would disclose information only where the law compels it, as part of a merger or sale of the business, or with your consent.

Connections to the site are encrypted over HTTPS, and stored records sit behind access controls. We apply technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the data we hold, while acknowledging what every honest privacy policy must: no method of transmission or storage is entirely free of risk, and absolute security cannot be promised.

Our coaching serves students of roughly 10 to 18, and it is parents and guardians, never the students themselves, whom our forms and checkout are built for. We do not knowingly gather personal information straight from a child under 13 without a parent's consent. If you believe a child has sent us information directly, tell us and we will delete it.

The law where you live may entitle you to:

• See the personal information we hold about you
• Have it corrected or erased
• Limit or object to our processing of it
• Take back consent you gave earlier

We run no analytics or advertising cookies. The only cookies you may encounter come from Stripe during checkout, set for payment security and fraud prevention, and checkout may not function without them. Should we ever introduce analytics, this policy will be updated before that happens.
